Open Positions

Marketing Specialist responsibilities include assisting in developing and implementing marketing campaigns to support the overall marketing program, of EIGHTEEN93 Communications. The marketing program, based off the value proposition, is designed to drive overall brand awareness and the corporate reputation as a key technical resource in strategic vertical markets. This includes technical content creation and utilizing a multi-channel approach for delivery of the content, including digital, print media and field sales personnel. This work will be a critical factor for the smooth operation of the Marketing department and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the company. Key tactical marketing support programs needed to attract and support customers and field sales personnel distributor include:

  • Sales leads program
  • Content marketing (develop, curate and distribute)
  • Digital marketing
  • Company branded marketing collateral
  • End user collateral and merchandising programs
  • New product launch packages
  • Internal sales personnel tools
  • Internal and external marketing communications
  • Trade show management
  • Online customer portal marketing and customer support

Detailed and frequent coordination of programs, short and long-term projects, customer contact, and internal multi-department contact is required to achieve the overall operational execution of providing all customers with the highest level of support and responsiveness.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Conduct market research
  2. Create marketing content and distribute through various channels (website, social media, print, PR)
  3. Maintain the company’s website and online purchasing portal
  4. Provide customer support (marketing/sales) for the company’s online purchasing portal
  5. Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.) and make program recommendations
  6. Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information
  7. Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns
  8. Prepare and deliver promotional presentations
  9. Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships
  10. Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities

 

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a marketing professional understanding of marketing principles
  • Experience creating relevant content to drive a thought leadership reputation
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
  • Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software
  • Fantastic communication and people skills
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or relevant field

 

Essential:

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in marketing or marketing communications
  • Marketing campaign creation and implementation
  • Marketing content creation / copywriting
  • Digital marketing
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong written, oral and presentation skills

 

Desired:

  • Working proficiency of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, PhotoShop, InDesign)
  • Working with advertising/PR/marketing agencies
  • Field sales experience
